You meet a girl you're head over heels for and write her a love song to tell her how much she means to you.  You're apprehensive about giving it to her because your singing abilities are less than par, but you do because she means the world to you.  

She then takes the song, has it played on the local radio station, and asks you to play it live so it can be recorded for a TV show called "Fast Track To Fame."

I don't think I've ever been so scared. However, love is powerful and can make you do crazy things.  You see, I've never wanted all eyes on me while on stage. It kind of freaks me out. My friend Danny helped me a ton by playing rhythm guitar on stage with me.  It made me feel like half the attention was now on him. 

In the end, I guess everything must have worked out okay.  Christie and I fell deeply in love, and the rest is history.  Looking back, I can genuinely say this is one of my fondest memories.

Disclaimer:  I am a guitarist, not a vocalist.  I sang from the heart and not the diaphragm, lol.  This was the only time I played this song live, and I did it to show Christie how much I cared for her.
